JEE Mains 2026 Registration
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 registration window.
Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website: https://jeemain.nta.nic.in.
The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) is India’s premier national-level test for admission to B.E./B.Tech, B.Arch, and B.Planning courses in NITs, IIITs, and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions.

JEE Registration Process 2026
The JEE Registration Process 2026 is done online through the NTA portal. Students need to create an account, fill in personal and academic details, upload documents, and pay the exam fee. Keeping all documents ready and checking details before submission helps avoid mistakes. After submitting the form, download the confirmation page and save the application number for future use.

JEE Main 2026 — Eligibility Criteria

| Educational Qualification | Candidates must have passed Class 12 (or equivalent) in 2024 or 2025, or be appearing in 2026. |
| Subjects Required | Physics and Mathematics are mandatory, along with one of: Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Technical Vocational Subject. |
| Age Limit | There is no age limit for JEE Main 2026. |
| Year of Passing | Only students who passed Class 12 in 2024 or 2025 or are appearing in 2026 are eligible. |
| Admission to NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs | Minimum 75% marks in Class 12 (or 65% for SC/ST), or being in the top 20 percentile of the respective board. |

Mode of Payment:
Online only – through Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI. No offline payment mode is accepted.

| Live Photo Capture | New feature introduced in JEE Main 2026. Candidates must capture a live photo via webcam or mobile camera during application. |
